The next CWR/Lives of Colour Book Club is on Tuesday 7 June 2022, 7:30pm on Zoom.

The book this month is Bless the Daughter Raised by a Voice in her Head by Warsan Shire.

Warsan Shire is a Somali-British writer and poet. She wrote the poetry from the visual album Lemonade and the Disney film Black Is King in collaboration with Beyonce. This is her first full-length poetry collection described as “an incantatory celebration of survival.”
